This Thursday, Tiffany Gouche will hold court at Live Oak for an intimate concert, with Houston’s own Jack Freeman in tow.

Tiffany Gouche is somewhat of a known secret to R&B heads. An indie singer-songwriter-producer, Gouche burst onto the scene in 2014 with back to back EPs in ‘LionHeart’ and ‘Fantasy.’ But it was the Inglewood songbird’s 2015 effort, ‘Pillow Talk,’ that effectively made her a topic of conversation. In the time since, Gouche has appeared on Terrace Martin’s ‘Velvet Portraits’ LP and was hailed by OkayPlayer as a Best New Artist of 2016.

This week, Gouche will bring her talents to Houston, courtesy of Cooley Knows Best, for an intimate concert, “A Night with Tiffany Gouche.” The event is being held in conjunction with House of Obsessions and Arthur Ray. Gouche is also bringing along a special guest performer whose name may ring a bell for Houstonians: Jack Freeman (who is more or less having the best year of his career with his “Nobody” single set to appear on Spike Lee’s upcoming ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ Netflix series). Tiffany’s laid-back R&B, coupled with Jack’s soulful sounds, might be an ideal date night option for those in need of something to do on their Thursday night.

The “A Night With Tiffany Gouche” concert, with special guest Jack Freeman, goes down this Thursday, July 13th, at Live Oak Lounge & Grill, 2533 Southmore. Pre-sale tickets are currently $25 and can be purchased up until the day of the event here. Because seating is limited in the venue, however, tickets might sell out really quickly.

Tiffany and her older half-siblings have always appeared to get along well, but recently unearthed on-air radio conversations between Howard Stern and Donald Trump reveal that Ivanka and Donald Jr. apparently tried to cut their younger sister out of her inheritance. Stern asks Trump, a frequent guest on his show, if Donald Jr. and Ivanka were trying to "bump off a child." Trump responds, "Tiffany?" "Is there any truth to that? [Inaudible] Tiffany?" Stern asks. "Tell me the truth, though," the radio host says, after Trump tries to dodge the question. "Yes," Trump said.

She did appear with her three older siblings on the then President-Elect's 60 Minutes interview. She had this to say: "I mean I don't think we can really prepare for our father becoming president. But we were all there together with everyone that's worked so hard. And my dad has worked so hard. And it's just–it's really awe-inspiring."

Tiffany & Co. Taps Cool Young People in First Act of Rebranding

Plenty of millennials might associate Tiffany & Co. with their mother’s pearls, but Reed Krakoff is out to change that. The brand’s new chief artistic officer started in January, and since then, he’s been trying to lure in the generation that’s spending all its money on avocado toast rather than fine jewelry.

The brand’s latest campaign, which was revealed on Wednesday as the first effort in a full rebrand, features a diverse cast including Elle Fanning, Zoë Kravitz, Janelle Monáe, and Annie Clark, who goes by St. Vincent onstage and arguably bears a resemblance to the original Tiffany & Co. fangirl, Audrey Hepburn.

According to a statement from Krakoff himself, the fall 2017 campaign celebrates individuality with the slogan: “There’s Only One.” Because if there’s one thing millennials love, it’s individuality.
